I am 82 and have non-diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs. My balance is really bad and I use a walker a good bit in my house and a cane when I go somewhere. I desperately need to improve my balance! I will do these foot exercises and pray they help me! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.

I had taken the health of my feet for granted until a car accident that required ankle reconstruction and months of recovery. Since then I’ve had a lot more respect for the job they do every day! Thanks for the tips!!

Wow! I was doing this without even knowing it because I moisturize my feet everyday. I love the feeling of massaging my feet and now I know that it is beneficial for my walking stability.

Easy to do and highly beneficial! Hey by the way, I increased the amount of push off on each foot while walking as you advised in another video. Not only has my walking speed increased but so has my balance. Thanks for the guidance! See you in the next video.

You have made several videos of getting you feet and toes more flexible. I have been working on that for the past few weeks and I can say it definitely makes a positive change in how I walk. Thanks. Keep up the great work.

I knew this, but had neglected to massage and manipulate my feet in recent years. Thanks for the reminder! It feels so good.

Walking on the beach, if you have that luxury, is fantastic for mobilizing the toes! Especially extension.

I'm.81. My daughter and I do a mutual foot massage most evenings. It really helps the circulation, especially for heavy legs. I just tested my feet, and happily, they are quite flexible. Thank you for this interesting video.

You can also flex or curl your toes without using your hands by sitting on the ground and spreading your legs out in front of you. It is done during a yoga warm up to loosen the joints before doing yoga!!

A a senior yoga teacher, I always add some specifics for the feet and emphasise them as the foundation of any standing posture 🙏

I wish I had seen this video 5 years ago. It started in 2020 when I was 50 with one toe that began to bend. I even went to my GP to show her but she didn't think much of it, let alo urged me to start mobilizing it. Now I have 4 stiff immobile toes that are stuck in place and my balance is compromised. It is partly corrected by orthopedic shoes but how I wish my GP had recommended me manual mobilization.

This is really good. I do this in winter, because it's dry then, but not with intention, as you are showing. Shall certainly do this. Helps with the blood flow too..

Tried this once and immediately felt the difference! Helped the blood circulation. I have socks on 24/7 so did the toes and ankle twisting without moisturiser! Thanks for this!

I’m 77 and have non diabetic neuropathy for the past 17 years. I am always moving my feet and doing exercises that made them feel good. Didn’t realize I was doing the proper exercises for my feet. Please post more exercises for people with neuropathy. 😊😊😊
