I've made gains on one day a week as an intermediate. Gotta go full body with high volume but it's doable.

I've basically been doing a variation of Day 1 and 2 but on the same day three times a week. I'm gonna try dropping it to two days a week for better recovery.

now that I am in my late 40s I dont have the energy that I used to have and I work a lot of hours so lately I can only workout on the weekends and I do lower body one day and upper body the next day and then I'm sore all week.

You can make gains training once every 10 days. Ive done it. And alot of guys need much longer recovery times than they realize.

I'm doing full body H.I.T. workout 3 days a week and I'll cut it down to 2 using the routine you posted to help maximize recovery thanks Steve.

Hey, BHUD! Thanks a lot for the workout. I've been in a work heavy period and I've only been able to hit the gym twice a week for the past two weeks and I was feeling like my regular program was suffering a bit. This looks like a great fix.

Good video. I'd make it 3 sets of db rows and pullups for an even 20 sets for the workout. Can training 2 days a week ever be optimal, even if you can make it to the gym more often?

Great Channel! Deserves much more subscribers! I found training two times a week being optimal. Tried it out... three times, four times, ... and nothing worked as good as two times week by having a good full-body-program! Recovery is underrated by most I think.

So, when you say 3 sets do you mean straight sets? Of going up in weight on all 3 sets?
Would you hit failure at the last set or go to rpe 8-9 max?
