I'm doing 2×/week these days and every time I go into the gym, I am completely recovered and 100% in the zone. I smash the weight so hard that I collapse as soon as I get home and I save so much time overall

I lift once every three weeks, on the full moon of the 5th Monday of after June. That is the best system. Loads of recovery, and the doms are insane!

Tried this out a while ago. I gotta say that this is by far the best I've ever felt workout wise. Never sore. Never tired. Never in a bad mood. Better sleep.

I'm a 64 year old man and have been doing strength training, (compounds mostly), 2x a week for the past 4 years with great results. Adding some cardio at finish. Best thing I ever did. Wish I had done strength training when younger instead of isolation body building nonsense. I can train hard for my age and get complete recovery for the next workout. Love it!

I am in my late 30's. I am a father. I have a full time job. This is the best advice and the best workout split for people who have less time and need the time to recover... thumbs up for Alpha D!

Alex I love the fact you think about peoples lives the creating your training routine, it seems a lot of fitness coaches/trainers forget people have lives and cant be living in the gym you are on of the few that actually takes this into account!

I have been doing a push pull legs routine for about a year and I was always in pain. I have been doing full body twice a week for about two weeks now and I'm already starting to feel bulkier and stronger and the damn pains are going away. Thank you Alex, you may have found the holy grail of bodybuilding. Everything you said here makes so much scene. God bless you brother and keep up the good work my man.

3 fullbody workouts a week is best!!
Monday and Wednesday moderate training and Friday high volume and long workout
Just amazing the high frequency to trigger protein synthesis

Fullbody calisthenics setup here. 1 day is for bar sets and reps (high volume), another day is for rings training (medium volume, perfect form) and last day is for strength exercises, explosive power and some tricks. Each day leg day with pliometrics, pistols, sprints, all kinds of leg "functional" training.

I did full body every 2 days for my first year, started doing every 3 days this year and its like everything I felt I should’ve gained to compensate for my work last year, decided to just inflate itself. I definitely understand where you’re coming from. Recovery is easily overlooked, it took me a year to understand my body just isn’t built to grow and deal with that kind of consistency.

I think I might try this. My high frequency training is leaving me drained, noticing some decrease in preformance. Thanks for the new insight Alex, definitely going to try this.
