Sea The Stars was the greatest horse ive ever seen.Won the 2000 guineas, The Derby and the Arc De Triomphe all in the same season.No other horse has ever done that.

Slip Anchor and Reference Point should have made the list. Both went "Wire to Wire". Slip Anchor won by 7 lengths in 1985. And Reference Point lead all the way in and repelled every challenge from start to finish and held on to win in 1987.

After watching the Chester vase Richard Baerlin told his readers to back Shergar using the slightly politically incorrect phrase “Bet like men”. He also called his house “Shergar” because the money that he made from backing him paid for it.
