India is the first country to develop the concept of one nation. Infact the nation is mentioned in Puranas, Mahabharat and Ramayana which itself is older than 6000 years. We were the first region to develop the thought of being 1nation and hence we were the superpower and richest country for more than 50 centuries...

For clarification, this list is only based on archaeological findings until now…
Indian civilisation maybe much older than described here and according to the hindu scripts, it is over 200, 000 years old. But since no archaeological evidence is found from that period yet, we cannot say it is completely true.
For now humans have managed to find no other civilization older than Egypt and recent research says Mesopotamia is older, but we may find out in the coming years when technology has developed considerably.
