I'm 77 years old. Last week I was trying to pick up a case of water from the bottom shelf and it slipped down to the to the floor. Without me asking, a very nice woman picked the case up off the floor and placed it my grocery cart. She was so kind that she offered to put it in my car when I was done shopping. I thanked her several times and said that wouldn't be necessary. Six days later I was having trouble getting an item from the top shelf when a man reached up and handed me the item. For 42 years I worked in the E. R. of several hospitals in a metro are with a population of 7 million. After retiring I volunteered in the E.R. for 7 years. After all these years it's nice to be receiving care, but I would go back to work providing care unfortunately I'm no longer able to poor health.

In the Domino's story, I looked up follow up vids and saw that the couple who set up the gofundme were/are getting accusations of it being faked. It certainly did not look fake if you watch the whole original video and can see Barbara having difficulty just walking up the drive to the house. And, even if it was "set up", to what end? Either way that woman was a senior citizen who should not have to do pizza delivery to pay for her medication! I was happy to find the gofundme is still active and over $277K as of today. 28 August 2024.

time 23:06 was in a Government Hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where an Indian patient's mother helped a young Malay patient who was all alone, incapable of feeding himself as his hands were injured. She showed compassion & care as if he were like a son & helped feed him. A time when there is so much racial discord sparked by some irresponsible extremists from a certain political party & is still happening discreetly...She didn't see the person for his race, color or creed but a human being that needed help. God bless her soul.

These videos always make me cry. Decades ago, i use to suffer from depression. I was close to ending it all. It took one person, with some kind words on one of my worst days. Thanks to that, here i am today. Every single person has the opportunity to be a hero, even if they don't know it.
