2:50 reminds me of a story when I was a kid. I was 4 or 5 yo when this happened. I had bunk beds with my sister where I was on the top bunk and I remember waking up in the middle of the night and seeing orange flickering lights on my wall coming from the window, only there weren't any streetlights outside that window. So I lean over the foot of the bed look out the window and see my neighbors wooden porch completely engulfed in fire.

I, being 4 or 5, didn't understand the danger, so I just sort of watched for a little bit, mesmerized by the pretty lights. After about 10 or so minutes I called for mom and she comes into my room with a tired "What is it?". She sees me looking out the window, looks herself, then in a panic screams for my dad.

They got the fire out with the only damage being the complete loss of the porch itself. Come to find out they had placed a metal trashcan full of fireplace ash out under their porch thinking that it was no longer hot.
