I left my job of 19 years July 2019. That 401k has grown 1.8X as of today 6/6/2023 without any further contributions. Just the Employer match portion of my 401k is worth $250, 000.00+. My wife makes more that me and has even more...Investing is amazing kids.

Imagine how much higher the returns would be if he didn’t invest in target date funds. Target date funds are garbage if you are investing long term and don’t care about beta.
