The Sikh dude went straight to heaven. The great thing about them is they don't believe in conversion. They don't belittle other religions and thinking another faith is lower via ego. To look down on another faith is egotistical. Ego is the center of human corruption. Some of the comments are vile.

Religion is not complicated, you dont need a degree in philosophy to understand it. If Allah does not put faith/guidance in your heart you wont believe even with a PHD, or you can be a Labourer with no formal education but have the strongest of faith in your heart. Going to deep into this will only lead to confusion and battle of ego's.
