Dogs are really the best friends of humans. The way they show inconditional love is absolutely amazing. They were the first domestic animals for a reason. Definitely canines show a sense of loyalty that cannot be matched.

I had a dog I called Irma, she was given to me when she was still a puppy. She was a golden retriever, a nice, well-behaved beautiful dog. Whenever I come home from work in the afternoon, she would be racing to the steel gate and bang herself to tell anybody at home that I am at the gate and someone should open the gate's latch. She would show her glee upon seeing me by running up and down the pathway to my house's door. When my wife comes from work a little later in the afternoon, Irma would bite my wife's hand in a teasing manner. I bathed Irma regularly. I went to Bahrain for a year and when I came home, she was there, wagging her tussled tail and brushing her body with my legs. When it is all quiet, Irma would lie down on my feet. I would run my hands over her body to let her feel that I appreciate her being a part of the family. My 5 yr. old son had a picture embracing Irma, both of them looking at the camera as if to tell me that they go along well. One afternoon, Irma came to me, not in her usual mood and somehow I pushed her a little bit for some reason I don't recall anymore. She lied down again on my feet silently. The following day, I found her dead. I did not know that she was trying to say good-bye to me. Until now,  my wife and I talk about Irma from time to time. If I will get a new dog, it will be a golden retriever again.

I met my friends dog, as small puppy, played with him for about a month, really cute
I met him later after 6 months, after I came back from college for my summer break, and boy he went beserk on me, he became so hyper !! It was pure love and emotions ❤️

I got to experience this recently and I cannot put into words the feeing I had. I was in the hospital for 4 days. It was the first time I’ve been away from my little girl since I rescued her 6 years ago. For 4 days a neighbor was helping out with her but she would not eat. When I finally came home, she went absolutely bonkers like the dogs in this video. She started crying then I started crying lol. The love you get from your dog is priceless.
