"Recently, I went on a family trip to Puerto Rico. Sadly, I had to leave my dog Hiro behind with roommates. One of my favorite parts of any trip is reuniting at the airport. We’re both always excited and eager to see each other after time away. This time was particularly special, as it was the longest we had ever been apart. Hiro is familiar with the airport ritual so, I knew he’d be waiting. The moment I reached the main hall of DIA it was like he just couldn’t contain it anymore. He basically tackled me in excitement, not that I minded anyway, I was just as happy to see him."

I'm a long haul trucker and am home for only a few days, once every month. This is how my dog welcomes me. I kinda wish my wife and kids were this excited to see me. Dogs are the best!

I spent 4 days in the hospital recently. It’s the first time I had been away from my little 4 legged daughter for more than 10-12 hours in the 6+ years I’ve had her since she was 12 weeks old. A neighbor was watching her while I was away. For 4 days she would not eat or play. When I came home, she went nuts. She started crying, then I started crying. I felt so guilty for leaving her, although it was necessary and unexpected. I hope I never have to put her through that again.

Dogs are so precious 😭😭😭 we lost ours a couple weeks ago and it still breaks my heart that every time we come home, he won’t be there to welcome us like this anymore 😞💔 I miss our angel so much. 🤍

This is super sweet and i only wish people would give their cats chances to have moments like this too. Lost my cat for two weeks and when i went to pick him up he ran for me and was meowing with so much emotion it was precious. Never been apart from him for so long
