I love how these elites talk tough on war while sending young men to their death. Over what?

So we’re more concerned about the security of the Ukrainian border than our own?? Insanity.

This reminds me of WW1, especially Verdun. When the Germans tried to trespass the French borders.
Our French army (les Poilus) recognizable with their blue coat managed to hold them off.
Huge casualties in our side more than millions soldiers have perished in the trenches
Singing the French Anthem "La Marseillaise"
[Do you hear in the countryside]
[The Roar of those ferocious soldiers]
[They're coming right into your arms]
[Arms citizens !]
[Form your batallions]

Et Verdun la Victorieuse ! 🟦⬜🟥🇫🇷

ILS NE PASSERONT PAS ! THEY SHALL NOT PASS !

If Russia invades Ukraine, a lot of people, including Russian soldiers, will die. Consequently, many Russian mothers might eventually ask the question: "What did my son die for?". It would be easy to provide a logical and sane answer, if Ukraine is the one that invades Russia. But the other way around might pose a more challenging formulation of a sound and just explanation to the son's death. Is it really necessary for Russia to invade Ukraine? I do not know the answer, but I do know that everyone should constantly keep in mind and never let down the awareness of the horrors a war, especially a major one, can bring about. Well, I hope that the current conflict will not have a domino effect that will result into a world war. Last, but not the least, I wonder when will mankind understand that war is not the best solution to conflicting ideas/values.

I'm sick of hearing about Russia, WORRY ABOUT WHAT AMERICA IS GOING TO DO. 500, 000 troops all over Europe like during the cold war.

I'm a Russian citizen on vacation in Ukraine and I genuinely had no idea this was occurring.

Luckily I drove here in a T-72 with an AK and a few extra pairs of green fatigues

There were 3 US/UK Joint Star reconnaissance aircraft flying over Ukraine today (all at once). This a sign that NATO is monitoring increased Russian activity - time to break open those US supplied Javelins.

Kamala is concerned about the sovereignty and borders of Ukraine but the US sovereignty and southern border NOT SO MUCH, Russia should ask for the right to vote and ask for social security benefits

Don’t forget the US vowed to protect Ukraine in ‘91 when they gave up their nuclear arms.

Anyone hear of a crowd-funding site called something like *Arms for Ukraine*
I have no idea if it even exists? Anyway, I can’t find anything like it.

Under the old USSR, ethnic Russian enclaves where established in conquered areas to cause disunity with the local ethnic population against the USSR’s central government. These old USSR ethnic Russian enclaves are where the political disruptions are being generated. Russia can occupy small areas of ethnic Russian speaking enclaves. But, not the whole country since the rest of Ukraine speaks Ukrainian and is a different ethnic group. When the USSR fell, all the former ethnic members left Russia and formed their own ethnic country. It’s very doubtful that the non-ethnic Russians in their own country would want to join Russia voluntarily and be ruled by a minority Russian ethnic overlord. This will be a political quagmire for the Russians where the majority of the Ukrainians are a different ethnic group, speak a different language, and basically hate you. The Russians will be seen as an invader and will have to maintain an occupying military force for years at a considerable cost. There is no clear endgame for Russia.
