Just think how much better off everyone in the region would be if they recognized everyone's right to exist peacefully, side by side. I realize it sounds naive, but it's not impossible if people see the humanity in their foes, and outgrow the ancient ideologies that call for the eradication of non-believers. Religious extremism and irrational ties to so-called holy lands are largely to blame, not "colonizers." Both peoples have lived in this land for thousands of years. Both peoples have suffered ethnic cleansing and purges. It's time to focus on common humanity and drop the flags, slogans and ideologies.

The Holy bible mentions Israel and Palestinians both back THOUSANDS of years ago. God said he gave that land to the Israel people after being freed from slavery out of Egypt..Bible does mention Palestine as well. So this goes back THOUSANDS of years now.
