It’s been really amusing to see companies respond to systematic racism by doing nonsensical things instead of just truly embracing diversity. Doing the most without doing a thing. Shoutouts to the few who are actually making meaningful change. My melanin appreciates you.

This. THIS is what I've been saying the whole time about DEI in both real life and fiction. We are reducing groups of people to just being props, cards to collect to complete a set, Pokemon where we catch them all or in this cases, spaces on a bingo card without actually looking at a person's true talent or if they even have any. It's like Eric July said and I now swear by this, equality is an inevitable side effect of putting quality first.

That whole scene of those company CEOs breaking down the demographics of their businesses was the funniest part to me in all of this, Lilly. There's a very strange dynamic that revolves around what exactly improves company image. And, that ingenuine approach more so creates opportunity for themselves, rather than the person of hire. You can always sense that, especially when stereotyping plays factor into it. Still, this was a hilarious way to combat the very issue, Lilly<3
