Wago makes 2 inline connectors. The 221-2411 is rated up to 14AWG. The Wago 221-2401 is rated to 12AWG. Also, the Ideal 30-1042 SpliceLine In-Line Wire Connectors are rated to 12AWG. Links for all of these are in my video description.

When did Scotty Kilmer start doing electrical work?

Bill, thanks for pointing out the Wago Inline Splicing Connectors - I had been using the 2-conductor Wago lever-nuts for situations such as these, but they are less than ideal for the reasons you pointed out.

Quick, to the point, and no excessive talking or hand gestures.

Thanks for your code updates. Nothing annoys me more than short wires when changing outlets.

Thanks for the good information, Bill! It's always nice to hear a clear explanation and see samples.

this is informative and very applicable, I can't tell you the mind warping ideas I've had to come up with to solve what you demonstrated. Then again.. I know Electricians in different states and it's (rules) different everywhere.. which is also kind of awkward.

Sparky, you're a good teacher, with clear (no distracting music) information. Thank You John 3:16

Awesome review and appreciate the clarity. A lot of my boxes needed conductors extended. The installer used wire nuts without cleaning paint off the copper and had to be trimmed. Yet another benefit of wago style splice as it’s less destructive to the wire when you need to make changes. I do like the ideal lever nuts over wago as the lever feels far more reliable.

Sparky sounds just like Scotty Kilmer! Thinks just as clearly too.

Thank for providing the clarity to the code, I can’t tell you how much you do to support knowledge and right way first time! You are the man! I another thing that makes you such a great teacher is you talk slow and are honest!😊

From one of your past videos, I purchased the box or plastic case of Wago connectors. Love them!! I did not get the splicers in that box, so had to use the two junction type. Still worked better than wire nuts and tape!!!! Thanks for teaching me about those things!!!!

You get the wire stretchers out. I keep them right by the pipe stretcher

we in the UK have had these wagos for sometime, we also have connectors from ideal which are permanent (meaning no levers) which are more compact
