Anecdotal but I’ve been taking NR since 2018 as Resveracel. I’m 81, nothing hurts, ride my bike every day, feel good. No way to know if the NR is a contrbuter.

I'd like to know the opinion on GlyNac, rather then NAD

And... what about NMNH? No one talks about it

Dr. Attia, I would like your opinion on red light therapy.

I've been taking it for 5 years. What benefits have I gained from it? It's hard to know what the 'me' without it would be like. All I can say is what I'm capable of and my appearance. I'm 55, people assume I'm about 15 years younger, I'm still very agile, very strong, and even though I've lost speed, I'm still fast. As well as going to the gym, I skateboard several times a week. Some of that may be down to genes or simply never allowing myself to grow old or even consider I'm ageing, basically maintaining a young mindset. The only hard evidence I have is when I used to play football ⚽️, I would need some good pre season training to start the season being able to do, according to my tracker, 40 or so flatout sprints, general jogging and some walking for 90 minutes a game. Covering around 8 km a game. The last season I played before, I decided to retire and just skateboard, I did no pre season training, but my first game it felt like I was 2 months into the season, I was running around and sprinting effortlessly, it was weird, and the only difference was nmn. Other than that, I can skate non-stop for 2 hours, probably more, without getting tired, I'm ready for breakfast after a couple of hours, though.

I have NMN powder from Renue. Figured I’d play human chemistry set with it and look for a single (self) case outcome. Wondering about bioavailability after 2nd pass metabolism. Too bitter for sublingual (and too much powder). Ruins coffee, and heat may denature the compound. So, I bought some cellulose capsules and filled them with the powder (2 caps/500mg). Renue instructions suggest 500mg BID. Is that an appropriate dose according to most recent data?

NMN has made a differance for I am almost 60 years old and will continue. Also taking it with TMG

Would a severe niacin deficiency, like having pellagra cause someone to have very fragile, weak and thin connective tissue. Like ligament and tendon?

Id love a conversation arpund NAD and log distance runnibg or exercise. Im a ultra distance runner and I have to say since Ive been taking it I feel better, perform better and recover better. I use it for that more than any other benefits its has.

Getting more nad and nmn is a great thing. So the fda bans it because of pharma!

Lifespan probably not, but healthspan-wise, why not?

I have the highest respect for Dr. Attia, but I'm afraid the topic of NAD precursor should be left to the experts who've seen the before and after benefits first hand -- especially with respect neuropathic diseases like Parkinsons, where either it works or it doesn't -- with little ground for placebo effect.

There's good data to support the use of NMN for endurance training, it has been shown to significantly improve cardiopulmonary metrics in several trials (within a short time period, appears to have a cute ergogenic effects like a pre-workout). With this knowledge, I think NMN should be taken in proximity to is cardiovascular exercise to get the most benefits from this ingredient.

There are studies showing it works in tissues outside the liver. I wish someone would challenge him .

Testing for longevity and wellness on patients with “death sentence” syndromes like ALS and Parkinsons makes zero sense. You need a large group long term age-related study of both men and women starting at age 40 -50 and following them for 20 -30 years. Start with a baseline full bloodwork and full mobility and strength testing for each participant. Then follow up testing each year. Otherwise I’ll take the information I’ve gotten from other participants in other studies. I’ve started taking Liposomal NMN+. I will see how it works for myself.

Take it subq small dose two or three times a week. You will feel 22 again. No benefits if you are actually young.
