Note that "Wiener" sausages are called Frankfurter in Austria. Reason: The guy who invented them was from Frankfurt, but lived in Vienna at the time. Also there is already a Wiener Wurst in Austria that is something completely different.

oida is the most important expression. and dont mix up Haus / Häuschen (house / little house) with Haus / Heisl. the latter is actually a toilet. and you ask someone politely to move on, if you say "geh schau dast weitakumst" (literally: go look that you move on)

Well, here in Baden-Württemberg, we call potatos Erdäpfel as well. It's because in french it's called "pomme de terre" which literally means "Erdäpfel", which literally means "apples from the soil". It's because, there's generally a trend in southern german regions to adopt certain traits from the french language, that don't exist in standard german. An austrian is a southern german dialect variety.

As someone who speaks German as not his mother tongue I find Austrian dialect from Kärnten the most funny, you can understand them but sounds like TV sketch where they would make fun of German language to me 😂
