Süß, oder? 😚🇩🇪 (Cute, right?) Which languages do you think sound "sweet", and which languages do you think sound "harsh"? 🤓

For me...I think Spanish sounds sweet and musical, while Russian sounds harsh and kinda angry 🙈 But that's because I don't speak both languages...yet 🌝

But then again any language sounds harsh if you're screaming and angry so 🤬

Oh and of course there are other ways to say hello, goodbye, and ouch in German. This video only shows examples ☺️🇩🇪

👉 "Spiel nicht die beleidigte Leberwurst" (literally: don't play the offended liver sausage) means don't be someone who's easily offended 😂✨ #redewendung4life

*Correction: it's "tschüssie" without the s 😅

**PS: Someone filmed me filming this video and I will let you guys know what happened soon! 🤣

The internet is where a friendly, cheerful and creative Indonesian woman explains German in English. I love it.

"don't play the offended liver sausage" goes hard as an insult

All languages can sound harsh if you're speaking them with a harsh voice

As a german, I've been waiting toooo long for someone to acknowledge the fact our language isn't completly harsh sounding and that by screaming everything sounds agressive.😂😭

German as aggressive was popularized by Hollywood post WW2 movies. And it was German spoken by American actors so yeah :) Up until that point it was just another language, quite popular in Europe due to it being the language of many thinkers and writers.

German is only aggressive when we Austrians start speaking

You forgot to mention "tja" - a German reaction to the apocalypse, Dawn of the Gods, nuclear war, an alien attack or no bread in the house.

"aua" is a more childish of saying "ouch". More "adult" is the shorter "au".
And you're so right about harsh sounding when yelled. Every language will sound harsh that way. 😮

Auf wiedersehen is actually super sweet cuz it's "we shall see each other again" which is caring

I love the way 'Süß' sounds like people always say it like 'awaaa Süüßßß~!'

That ✨auaaa✨ was sooo adorable 😭😭
I am actually from Germany and some kids, when they say goodbye they sometimes say „tschüssli Müsli“ and it’s so darn cute.

Schmetterling absolutely sounds like a delicate, beautiful word. It sounds fluttering. Anything that's yelled aggressively will sound aggressive lol.

Actually we say "Tschüssi" without the "es" but yes, it is a cute word.
