I remember the trailer first announcing this game a week before I left for university, I was so excited. This is now the year I’m graduating with a master’s in astrophysics. What a ride!

I had an experience with this game I'll never forget. I was attempting my first orbital rendezvous . I was literally attempting over and over for 5 hours straight. This was before major tutorials were available. 6AM rolls around and my father comes in the room and finds me leaned into my screen in deep focus. He asks, "Oh wow up early?". I turn around, red eyed and manic to simply shake my head and softly reply "no..."

More importantly when I finally docked two craft together I jumped out of my chair and screamed I would imagine that's about 10% of what actually NASA engineers feel when their craft is successful.

No other game has given me the self fulfillment this one has. Very excited for what KSP2 has to offer!

I started playing the original Kerbal Space Program in 5th grade and now study Aerospace engineering. I definitely chose this career on my own, but it would be hard to deny that KSP had no influence what so ever. It has many essential aspects and mechanics of real Space tech that it conveys very well even to young people that do not understand the math behind what is happening. I can't wait to see what they came up with for KSP 2. I have been waiting patiently and think that it was the right move to delay the release in order to assure quality. Thank you in advance I am sure this will be my new favorite!

In final year of my college I was in the bottom most pit of my life, i wasted my time in college to such extent tht i made sure my future after college is almost non existent, i barely used to pass, partied everyday, i was polar opposite to wht i wanted to be in life....hated myself for it, lost all confidence and hope, was broken in soo many pieces tht didnt even know who i was i found this game....i started playing it, and the satisfaction it gave helped me reignited my once dead curious studying and after 3 years of hard work now im working as a officer in ministry of defence where i build fighter jets for a living....thank u ksp, i was reborn because of u❤️

I know this is a game about space, but those planes look gorgeous! I'm so excited for the modifiable wings, and it appears that the vast majority of the plane parts from the first game are implemented here. Hopefully there are some surprise parts (real props please!) in addition to the ability to make your own propellers using wing pieces and electric rotors.

I have almost 3700 hours on KSP1. I'm so excited for this game I ran out and bought a new video card. We're all counting on you, Nate Simpson! <3

I love Kerbal Space Program. I usually play Science mode with kerbal respawns off because it means I have to be very careful, if a kerbal dies, that’s it. Their gone. This has also let to me doing more unmanned stuff because if a probe explodes it’s fine nobody dies. My first mission to Duna was great, until during atmospheric entry. I had gotten so used to Mun missions I forgot Duna had an atmosphere, so my rover was entering without any heat protection. It exploded.

I have a project deadline on the 28th. Worked up 2 weeks worth of overtime in the past 2 months and its going to be used playing this game.
