love your videos.. I quit almost 8 months ago. My average was about $15 a day. That was only drinking beers at home with occasional bottle of wine and 1/2 gallon of gin. Shift drink after work and maybe a couple of pints at the local pub a few times a month. I've saved almost $3, 600 already. That seems insane. I've been a heavy drinker going on almost 20 years. You do the match.. ouch!!! Thanks for all you do Craig.

I just saved $2, 200 a year by switching to sober.... actually a lot more when you count the beer I'd drink at restaurants, vacations, concerts etc... that was just my house drinking expense!

I did this process recently. I am living in Thailand right now, so I will have to do a conversion. Leaving out the special occasions, it comes out like this. Every day four cans of beer from Family Mart = 200 Baht, or 1, 400 Baht per week. I like wine with my dinner, so let's say three bottles a week of fairly cheap wine for here = 1, 800 Baht. I would drink about one bottle of gin and tonics a week = 700 Baht. Over here I don't go into bars all that much, never at night, but during the day after being on the beach lets say three times a week = 1500 Baht. There has got to be odds and ends on an irregular basis, so let's add another 500 Baht to the bill. That all totals up to 5, 900 Baht a week. Round that up to 6, 000 per week. So in a month I was spending around 25, 000 Baht. At the current exchange rate that is around 800 dollars per month. And that is not including special occasions like Christmas, friends visiting, disasters etc etc.
