"El punto del duelo fue ver quién podía hacer mejor música, ya que desde el punto de vista de David la música no vale la pena si es disonante y no respeta un patrón, mientras que Gary piensa que la música debe ser libre y disonante.
En un inicio vemos cómo David ataca a Gary con una serie de notas que escalan con ritmo. Gary responde con una melodía improvisada que repite muy pocas veces las mismas notas.
Entonces llegamos al punto máximo del enfrentamiento, dónde ambas melodías supuestamente deberían enfrentarse.
Pero para sorpresa de David, en lugar de enfrentarse Gary hace que sus melodías se combinen para finalmente cerrar con su disonancia.
En otras palabras, Gary mediante una melodía disonante logro controlar y absorber una melodía armoniosa, creando así una melodía perfecta.
David impactado ante está verdad revelada no puede decir nada más que " Te agradezco""

This is amazing! by seeing the notes being played, I can see the battle itself. David's notes are all in formation, lockstep with each other. This is the visualization of David's belief in musical order.

Then we see Gary's musical style is unorderly, no patterns are seen as his hand appears to dance lightly across the keys. David sees this as 'discordant' as it follows no pattern, but in the hands of Gary we see that this unorganized and freeflowing tune answers, and rather than overpower *matches* David's own rigorous patterned music.

It is at this point, where order and chaos intersect, in the middle of the screen, that we see the victor. Despite his chaotic musical nature, Gary proved that his way of thought was right by matching David's music better than any other format he himself could add to it. Music should not be confined to order, as order is only one side of the coin. Music should include both.
