As a Native American, this lack of food awareness is sickening. Our people on reservations live in “food deserts”, meaning they have no choice but to live subsistence lifestyles or have NO access to food. 2/3 of residents don’t even have running water. Maybe she should focus on caring about human lives in our country if she loves all life?

As a 13 yr old who is still recovering from SA after having it done to me every day for a month, and having to live with the same kid who did to me in my school, there are not words to describe how I felt about what in the world she said. The way she compared something SO severe to the consumption of animals, is completely baffling. I am so utterly sorry that happened to you, nobody ever deserves to go through what you did. I'll never understand how someone expects you to have empathy for animals but will turn around and make a hypocrite out of themselves by belittling someone else's trauma.
