How to Automatically Transcribe Audio and Video files Using Google Docs

In this short tutorial, I will walk you through the use of Google Docs to automatically Transcribe any Audio or Video file into text.

This is an easy process but the output transcript depends on the accent and quality of the audio.

David, this will record my voice and mp4 files with no problem. I am having a problem getting the mp3 file to work. In your video, did you say to play the audio file fast first and then play it normal for it to record. I wasn't sure about your instructions. Thanks.

Thank you, David, for sharing. You really helped me out with reviewing into more of what Google Docs can do. I wanted an automation such as this to help transcribe a draft that I could then edit and proofread so that I could work faster since many jobs pay so little when first starting out. I paid for Express Scribe but then learned that it did not actually do any automatic transcribing at all. I can still use it but wanted something to create that first draft for me.
