God wants us to wrestle with Him. He wants us to actively engage with Him. He wants to be an overcomer. God could have wretched the socket of Jacob’s bip at any time. He was allowing Jacob to wrestle with Him so He could know there is no bounds to the love God has for Jacob and his family. The same is true for us who are born again.
