It's not easy for anyone right at the moment. It's a lot easier for me right now than it is my wife and it's because I'm arrogant and can't be bullied. She's been abused in one way or another and her entire life for doing nothing wrong but being born.

On the perforated section at the bottom of my State college application was a LONG disclaimer (affirmative action was illegal):
“The following is 100% optional. It gets separated from the app and tossed into an anonymous bin ONLY for statical purposes of the school. The (demographic & RACIAL) info will not be attached to your file or have any impact on your admittance.” 😂🤥🤬

I saw right thru the BS!! Not ONLY was I admitted immediately when many friends waited, I was given preferential class selection (only given to graduating seniors), received offers for FREE textbooks (I did NOT accept), each semester was invited to visit high schools to motivate other black students… I SO wanted to show up & JUST motivate other HUMANS but didn’t. 😵‍💫🤪🤷🏻‍♂️

I think both men and women have it hard because we've been pitted against eachother. Men don't know what their role is and women don't know what their role is. We have uglified women in media to avoid sexualizing them but sexualize the men in their place. This makes men mad because they want sexualized women. Whatever happened to respecting men and men PROTECTING a woman's modesty. Men shouldn't want sexualized women and vis versa. Women want to feel safe but men think they have never caused harm to women therefore the women's claims are unfounded. But not listening to women is part of the problem. For example disrespecting women is common. I had a man disrespect me to my face in front of my husband and my husband couldn't recognize what was happening. He thought it was a joke. I don't blame my husband though because society is so backwards and confusing that it's now difficult to figure out when and where to step in and step up. I think I can speak to the struggles I face as a woman and while I can't speak from experience as a man I can speak from experience as a woman who loves a man that I see my husband struggles with his role in life he isn't sure what it's supposed to be because he gets fed all sorts of ideas from both sides and really neither side is correct. The only one who is correct is the good Lord himself. Be a God fearing man or woman and you'll find your place and your peace.
