How To Prune Strawberries | Pruning Strawberry Plants | August 2020

Hello! In today's video I'm going to be showing you how I prune my strawberry plants. Pruning Strawberries help your plants to focus their energy into producing more fruit, instead of spending energy sustaining old blossoms (that are half eaten by birds!), & dying leaves.

These 2 Strawberries are "Sweet Berry" & "Ozark Beauty."

When planting these containers I added Espoma Blood Meal, Espoma Bone Meal, Jobe's Tomato & Vegetable Plant Food, & Epsom Salt. I fertilize the Strawberries about 3 times a month with Alaska Liquid Fish Fertilizer.

Thank you so much.
I can grow the biggest and healthiest veggies and fruits but strawberries give me the most problems I swear. Everyone round town remarks on how well my garden does but my strawberries are always lacking. This year I've got some better results some smalls but trimmed the runners off to encourage energy to fruit setting and the plants stalled out as usual. Lol help.
