Woman Gets Stuck in Quicksand on Beach

Jamie Acord was with her husband, walking along the beach in Maine, when she suddenly got stuck in quicksand. Acord says the quicksand was up to her waist and her arms were on top of the sand. Thankfully, Acord's husband was able to pull her out. Survival expert Shane Hobel showed Inside Edition's Alison Hall how to get out of sinking sand. Hobel says to not wiggle and that the best way to get out is by using a stick.

A good rule of thumb to never get stuck in quick sand is to only walk on slow sand.
