Great info on his to get rid of unwanted extensions or add ons, but for the lay person like me, how does one determine which add ons are unnecessary and are OK to disable, and how does one determine which are necessary to the function of the computer browser and should be enabled?

My Internet Explorer crashes constantly - I mean, almost immediately after opening, I often get a small prompt from the computer to manage add-ons, but I don’t have that many enabled. I have an ad blocker enabled - perhaps that’s it?

I use Microsoft Edge for windows 10, and I have downloaded an application that gave me a bar at the top of my screen and it is very annoying and unwanted. If you could make a video on how to remove it I would appreciate it dearly.
