“Beginner’s water” is the most Reddit thing I’ve ever heard

"So what do you do in your free time"
"Drink water"
"No like i mean hobbies and stuff"
"I know"

At this exact moment, my husband is doing his daily tap water ph balance test. I showed him this because... relevance. You know what his response was? "He didn't even touch on reverse osmosis." 🤦‍♀

This is how I felt on r/coffee. I thought I liked coffee but I guess not that much.

As a beginner drinker, this was very useful

"Beginner's water" killed me.

I had casually crocheted for about a decade, and recently joined r/knitting to learn to knit. The very first swatch I posted, I got a comment that said, "Your stockinette [most basic and recognizable knitting stitch] is twisted. Here's the link to fix it" and the link was someone who had documented every way to wrap and loop the stockinette stitch to twist or not twist with your preferred method of knitting/purling (there are 16 combos, btw). Because I like knitting and wanted to get better, I appreciated the link, but god I feel bad for the poor souls getting into a hobby casually that aren't looking for that kind of commitment lmao.

“I actually like to see the water between sips” sounds like a legit thing that someone would say if they were a hori glass drinker

I realized I needed a flashlight for night walks with my dog. I browsed the flashlight subreddit. Now I could hold a seminar on lumen output and candela, flood vs. throw, lithium ion battery chemistry, color rendering index, correlated color temperature, the pros & cons of direct drivers vs. constant current, and which metals are best for heat sinking

I visited the tea subreddit for some simple tea recommendations, but they were busy discussing the perfect type of charcoal to use in a tea stove

Happened with me with aquariums.
Started with a 5 gallon betta fish tank from Petco.
Found the aquarium subreddit and suddenly I have a dedicated fish room with 7 tanks with CO2 systems, pink crypts, and rare imported tropical fish. I'm even planning a trip to the Amazon river to see how freshwater aquarium fish are caught...

SAVE ME.

I like how he scoffs at the simple mention of “Dasani”

“This guy is such a beginner when it comes to water you wanna look up this other guy that knows way more than this guy”

Hmm spoken like a true master. However, I prefer my water directly from the vase.

The uncontained laughter after saying "Dasani" and the following line gets me every time lmao

It’s a miracle this guy still has a YouTube channel after shaking up the water drinking community with such a controversial video.

God, I love the way he just SPITS out the word "Dasani" with complete and utter contempt, absolutely *nails* that mindset.
