The Nepali Army has managed to reach the wreckage of the Tara Air plane and has shared the first images from the site. The aircraft with 22 people including four Indians onboard went missing on Sunday.

It is very sad for the whole team of 22 members from Chennai and travelled in the same flight almost the same time to Jomsom on previous Sunday a part of our Muktinath yathra. We all pray for the safety of the members in the flight and we are unable to say anything on the crash since the news shook every one since yesterday. We are speechless. Be strong Nepal. I know every time before take off they are very cautious about the weather and it is not known to us how this happened.

Very unsafe airport and airlines. Lots and lots of similar accidents have taken place in flights taking off from Pokhra in the past. No lessons are learnt and no corrective actions are taken . In a similar accident in 1999, a senior of mine and his wife got killed along with all other passengers.
