This is helping me get over my fear. My hair is like, the definition of depression hair right now, all matted and gross. I just lost motivation after my mom passed, this is so nice to see. I know it's just hair, but hair is a big factor of personal identity, so I'm still a bit nervous. Hopefully this will help me get the confidence to just get a fresh start and regrow my hair.

I shaved my head in October and it sits on my shoulders now. I highly recommend not cutting it at all and experiment with pins. To even everything out I’ll cut it when it’s bra length. My hair is 7 inches long now!!

My buzzcut hair journey:
-first month ( september) i was in shock kind of phase. I was still trying to convince myself that i look cool and edgy. Btw i shaved my head cause of hairbleaching accident🥹 i was getting use to the cold feeling on my scalp whenever i wash it or whenever im outside. And yeah i do wear hats all the time.
-second month, i actually love this phase cause it grew out a little bit and it doesnt show my scalp that much. I had to style myself in a way that i never imagine i would. So many people ask me if im a lesbian or if im depressed cause i looked horrible, maybe because as an asian person you dont always see a lady with a buzzcut. 🤣🤣 hate my family for always teasing me but i really enjoyed my hair that time.
-third month, my hair started to become very messy and it goes to every direction of the map😁 i looked crazy and it was the time that i started wearing hats again. Still i was explaining to strangers that im a lady🥹 last december i went on shopping and all of the sales person called me "sir", i was wearing an oversized hoodie and a short and ofc with my hat. That was my style so maybe thats why😆 i also started using hair gel and mousse for my hair styling so it wouldnt stick up.
- im close to my fourth month now. my hair growth is kinda diff from Stella cause of my head shape and diff hair texture. But yeah my sides are covering half of my ears already. Mine starts to look like a micro pixie now. I have a mini bangs and the top still drives me crazy. Ofc the back, i can tie it up in a little ponytail it looks crazy!😆😆 im planning to have it trim next month (feb) so i can have a decent pixie cut ❤️ its not my first time to have a pixie but its my first time to have a buzzcut. If you ask me, this is a life changing experience. I appreciate my hair more and i know that i would never ever have my hair shaved again so im cherishing each day that is passing by. I experienced so many heartbreaks before, now i have experienced giving birth, i butchered my hair many times and now i experienced shaving off my hair. Feels like I have nothing to be scared of! Really🤣 it makes me feel like no matter how much i struggle, i can conquer it! I dont know how and why im feeling that but im more confident now than before. I am strong and im living my life like everyday is my last!!!
So to all of you ladies and gents out there, with a shaved head or a short pixie cut - trying to count days as it grows....- be patient! ❤️ it may seem like an eternity but time flies so fastt!!! Enjoy your hair growth now, yeah it may seem like its taking forever to grow but its there! Love it, hate it - you gotta live with it! You can wait for it to grow longer- one day you will realize you like it short or you miss the buzzcut look on you- then you would do it again. If not, then atleast you experienced it. Have it checked out of your bucketlist and play with your hair as much as you like and as long as you are alive! ❤️ stay awesome guys!!!

honestly if u stopped trying to shape ur hair and just let it get wacky and grow out it would be even longer...I grew my buzzcut to shoulder length in 12 months exactly I didn't trim it not one time untill I hit 13 months by 13 months my hair was collar bone length and IV never had super fast growing hair.
