Il Futurismo è stato un movimento politico, artistico e poetico nato sotto impulso di Filippo Tommaso Marinetti nel 1909 con il primo "Manifesto del Futurismo".
Il Futurismo esalta la guerra "sola igiene del mondo" si scaglia contro il dogmatismo italiano ed europeo e contro la cultura classicista. Esalta la Velocità, l'azione, la rivolta; vede nel futuro un'occasione unica per lasciarsi alle spalle un passato vecchio e retrogrado. Essere Futuristi, ora e sempre.

Futurism exalts war as the "only hygiene of the world" and lashes out against Italian and European dogmatism and classicist culture. It exalts speed, action, revolt; sees the future as a unique opportunity to leave behind an old and retrograde past. Being Futurists, now and always.
