Humans become more robotic, and robots become more human. This world has issues...

Can they give the human touch?? What old people need is human touch, hugging them, holding their hands and etc. It's the skin-to-skin touch that comforts people.

Instead of making Terminator bots, why can't these techs create bionic limbs for amputees, like combat vets? Or make bionic exoskeletons so paralyzed people can walk?

People crossing some lines right now that can’t be uncrossed.

Call me pessimistic, but the real concern is not how human-like they look and behave as some have already expressed in videos like this, but rather the discreet spyware technology that could possibly be built into these things and transmitted back to say our governments and third-party corporations; basically enabling them to profile us right down to the minutest detail. Things like our physical features, our conversations that would give away our likes and dislikes, maybe our political and social values, our habits and where we go and what we do. Add to this the possibility that these robots could potentially be hacked and effectively hijacked, and next thing you know they could be giving all this information to cyber-criminals. Of course a lot of this already exists with current smart technology, but robotics will inevitably take this to a whole new level.

I will never let one of these diagnose my health, mental or physical. It's like letting a book learning new student determine what you need

After reading Frankenstein, this has become slightly more concerning.

They are trying to make robots look 100% like humans, I hope this perfection does not become the biggest problem in the future while identifying a robot from a real human. That will be a scary situation.

It's strange how humans tend to do things that lead to its self-destruction. Robotics and AI is a clear example that humans are heading in that direction, but this time round, there may be no way back!😬

Grace and Sophia were made by Hanson Robotics (founded in Dallas, Texas - USA). I believe they were built in the Hong Kong workshop.

If Jia Jia actually follows instructions then she's nothing like any woman I ever met.

I think its time to get all of these six fembots together for a roundtable discussion. It would be interesting to hear what they will discuss!

Wake me up when it can cook and clean the house. My wife is confined to a wheelchair, and I am 75 years old. So don't keep me waiting too long. Yes, I would pay 20k for a robot.

amica seemed to be the best out of the bunch so far. but ofc it would need more than just movement.

This is not going to end well for humanity.

I don’t get why Sophia doesn’t have hair already.
