5 A-10s with a bit of fighter cover would make 40 miles of salvage metal.

Very fearful to live in this world. Don't understand how the rest of the world can stand by and allow one man, a dictator to commit war crimes against humanity in such manner. This is human life, not stones

I keep hearing from people who said "This wouldn't have happened under Trump!" True, because Trump licked Putin's boots and ignored Russia's ongoing attacks against Ukraine. And then, there was that phone call....

Right now Russia has a GDP which is about 20% smaller than that of Italy. By the time this is all over, Russia is going to have a GDP 50% smaller than that of Mexico.

Best military analysis I've seen on mainstream media so far. Felt like a CGSC class!

Chuck Todd needs to learn to not interrupt people. It is rude and annoying.

I find i funny that Russia didn't learn from the highway of death. 30-50 years ago. But we as a world are still scared.
Do you think Putin will stop once he gets Ukraine . NO.

commonsense.

I'm glad we are sending thoughts and prayers to Ukraine. I think with a few more days of concentrated prayers they will be able to win this war.

I'm thinking the big convoy from the north may be made up of troops from Belarus. If so, they're probably in no hurry to experience combat. Slava Ukraini!

Totally vulnerable to air assets, against U.S. and NATO forces this would be another “highway of death “ like the Iraq’s withdraw from Kuwait. This offensive in the early stages was no more than a large meandering of forces in a general direction, on roads. The units weren’t given objectives.” It’s an exercise “ is the info they were given, NATO would’ve routed them. It would be another “ Marianas turkey shoot.” The fatigue of the pilots would be the prime factor in “ how much damage did we do?”

It's time for Putin's inner circle to put him out of the worlds misery. Putin dreams of being Julius Cesar, and the Ides of March is less than two weeks away!

I believe it would be a more accurate depiction of Russian control points and movements if you removed the shading for "Russian Controlled Area", and keep the shading of swathes to a minimum. The way that this is presented makes it look like the assault is making fast progress when in reality it is not. Shade cities and metros that have confirmed to of capitulated, and spend your resources looking into the forward prongs of the Russian troop movement. It would give a vastly more realistic depiction of what is truly going on in the assault. For example, by focusing more on the troop movements it would lead you to the real stories, such as what Mariupol has endured during the last 48-72 hours. Despite the constant shelling and bombing of crucial civilian infrastructure, the entire city is very much under Ukrainian control and the fighting spirit lives on.

After taking Melitopol yesterday, some Russian units immediately made an attempt at a move north toward Zaporizhzhia...which resulted in them being pushed back by Ukrainian defenses, and further outrunning resupply convoys.

For now the fight turns to Odesa and the amphibious assault that is starting to eerily loom closer to shore in the Black Sea. Please talk about Mariupol more. Please talk about Sumy more.

Glory to Ukraine
