Why can’t war be fought between leaders in a boxing match, where they themselves can only die?

This is insane. Normalizing the use of these weapons is crazy.

Wasn’t Iraq a sovereign nation when we invaded? Those pesky old double standards.
Tactical nukes can be smaller and more localized as well as different payloads. Thermo nuclear, radiation bombs and EMP’s. They don’t have to be 50 megaton. They can be a fraction of that.
Doesn’t look like we’ve changed our positions on nuclear weapons either.

Russia didn't invade Crimea, they held a referendum and something like 90% voted to return to so they did, big deal!!!

My dad flew B52’s with nuclear weapons in the Cold War and Commanded new pilots in Strategic Air Command (among other wars). He loves those B52’s. They’re the most feared bomber in the world. What they are saying here is exactly what’s going on in Ukraine right now. We CAN’T BACK DOWN.

Crimea have belonged to Russia for a very long time.

I honestly don’t think the people in control really understand how devastating nuclear weapons are, there talked about like a regular bomb, I think the sooner the people in control can truly give the respect that these weapons truly deserve the better off the world would be, cause in the mind of most people familiar with nukes, you know to talk about them and the actual idea of one going off in lines you with almost certain death, it’s like being put in front of a firing squad and waiting for the sound of that bang, then your lights go out, and at the end of day the simple people like me writing this, we are the ones that get used like sheep, the wealthy can run and hide and live, it’s wrong we need to stand up now people, come together military and all no more foolishness, I love life and love people, so who’s wars would it be.
