2019 Toyota RAV4: 7 Cool Things!

Surprise, surprise (or no surprise at all), the new Toyota RAV4 has more than a few cool features going on.

The new-gen model will hit Australia in the second quarter of 2019, with a 127kW/203Nm 2.0-litre petrol engine and a more powerful 152kW/243Nm 2.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid version.

That's Recreational "Activity" Vehicle not "Active". I purchased the TRAIL model last month. Love it! Love the new look/design - That's what sold me :) The drive/handling is very nice/smooth. Engine is noisy on acceleration. Same engine and transmission as Camry so not worried about its reliability.

I feel really sad for Subaru Forester. They had such a good chance to really bring something new and exciting(at least interesting), but they totally screwed their chance with the new 2019 model. This RAV-4 on the other hand, is like a dream come true. Smaller outside, bigger inside, new engine, so many options to choose from and for the 1st time ever, an equally solid all wheel off road version as Forester. In short, 2019 is going to be the year Subaru will start going the Saab way.

Beautiful! This has taken a few styling flourishes from the Jaguar F Pace, the Jeep and BMW. Would buy this any day over any of the others!

1 uncool thing: Apple play, BUT NO Android auto???? Probably the only SUV not to have both. Why did Toyota excluded Android? Makes no sense.
