New Crush and Run Driveway - Raw Land

About time!! After having some land cleared twice by a forestry mulcher and once by a dozer, we are finally ready for a driveway!! Planning how we want our homestead/farm to look has been challenging, fun, complicated, and ever changing all at the same time! It has already come such a long way, yet this is only the beginning. After having the gravel spread, we drove around several times to compact it, and it has stayed in place! For us, this cost $1,500 to have 3 loads, over 60 tons, delivered and spread.

I’m thinking of doing a drive way, but don’t you need to put some kind of weed barrier down? Won’t the Gravel just sink to the mud?

A box blade for your tractor will really be helpful if you don’t already have one.
