I just noticed this video. It was made just prior to my discovery of your channel. Here in Texas the product of choice is a limestone base which is generally used for all these private roads. I only have done one driveway with it, and I didn't have that tilt mechanism or your excellent lesson about how to best spread the rock. This road base doesn't spread so nicely with different sizes of aggregate and with the straight bucket, my edges came out raggedly. Now I have the secret to do better work next time. Thank you as always for sharing your expert procedures.

That was an A+ job. Your customer got more than a good job, they got a high quality job. Dirt Boss Rules!

Back site! That new slotted grapple head certainly was good at removing the top layer of organic matter. Great job.

Giving ol Jawz a good test I see. That is one serious grapple. Looking great. Thanks for the videos

It's funny you mentioned the roll up door on the Kubota. I had that discussion yesterday with a Bobcat guy and why I bought a Takeuchi instead. The roll up door was the deciding factor for me. Your job turned out nice. Stay safe Boss.

That came out nicely-nice! I like the tips on spreading bulk. It makes sense... now all I have to do is... get my CDL, buy a dump truck and find a driveway that needs spread.... I may do that just to see how well it works Thanks for the inspiration.

That rotten tree would have been a widow-maker with a chainsaw. Nice job avoiding the grave!!!

Great job shooting & editing this one, too!

"Bonus" footage was really a good way to explain what you're doing - I like it! Hey, you should have called Mrs ELITE to do that rolling - from what I saw she LOVES that machine. BTW, loved your donkey impersonation. Thank, Mike.

Great vid! How do you like your tilt tach and what brand do you have? Strongly considering getting one as I am not the best at grading and that seems to be a great attachment for doing crowns and slopes and such.

When you use fabric, is there ever a need to use a heavy 3” stone for the first layer? Or does the fabric eliminate that need?

Would love to see a video of your process of bidding jobs like these !!

We use crush and run alot at work. One of my favorite materials to work with. Great for the bottom of a base failure as well as the cap. Only thing better I have used is crushed concrete but that just applys to base failures.
