Of course we can’t tell the difference when watching a YouTube video on a smartphone’s screen!

Can you do a side by side with them? It would make it alot easier to reference that way

Based on my experience, the greatest differences between a camera and cellphone are revealed when we take photos of people. The subtle shades of skin colours.

The thing behind the camera and the phone is the difference, that’s all. All I can see is both picture are really well made :D
We have same story on audio side.

You can’t tell the difference on YouTube but in person camera phones just don’t compare and aren’t even close on print or on a decent monitor.

Let’s say for instagram the pixel will do just fine 😂

I'd love to see you print these photos at a sizes larger than a cellphone screen up to 20x30 and see if there is a difference.

I have a pixel 4, but I'm envious of the skyscraper water reflection on that A7R

Great video as always! The Pixel 4 camera is truly amazing, was hard to tell the difference up until the leaf shot, then you could tell straight away with the quality of the bokeh on the A7R3. The portrait video will be interesting because the Pixel 4 takes amazing portraits. I look forward to it!

To be able to put a phone with that kind of camera power in your pocket is honestly amazing. The Pixel does so many things besides just camera. The dedicated camera will always be better, but being even close is amazing!

I think there is no difference in infinite focus but when you shoot close objects, portrait style kinda, that added bokeh gives the pixel away. Sometimes it worked flawless but some shots you can see where its struggling, like hair, those yellow grasses. So very very fine detail.
For instagram totally fine, for business... Depends on your client and what he'll/she'll be using it for.

6A and B was one of the most obvious differences and the reason I only use smartphones as backup

If you think about it, with the pixel you get portability, an attached phone and computer as well whilst still being in the ball park as a full dedicated $5000 camera. Which is insanely good really. Gives nearly everyone the hardware to take great photos

Watched this on a 27 inch monitor, and a lot of the photos I like turned out to be pixel ones! Great job to Google and your editing to that!

Finally the respect pixel deserves. 🙏🏾

The real test is indoor photography with minimal lighting. Outdoors most modern phones look great cause there is enough light.

Usually I do not find much of a difference when taking photos with camera and mobile. The real test comes when I try to print them to put them of a wall. That is when the pic from the camera come out to be on top.

Nice video! I shoot with Pixel and Sony Alpha, both have their strengths and weaknesses, both are fun and both work well. Thanks for the video.

It's hard to see the difference about both camera because we are watching on a smartphone's screen, would be easier see the difference on a PC's screen, but the pixel 4 camera is really amazing. Great video! I'm new here, I subscribed right now :)
