As nice of an alternative it would be I think body carrying is not only an easier access but you're less likely to have the gun taken off the person than if someone was to grab your bag and run.🤷

I think it's a good option for occasions where you can't carry on you, but it wouldn't be my primary choice. I've considered fanny pack style carry bags, but I just don't like the idea of it not being on me. I only carry in the appendix position and I find it the most comfortable and accessible. But I also don't wear a dress lol

Having top access to the item is better. One can have their hand on said item at condition yellow and no one knows. Also, one can have item out while sitting much quicker. Having situational awareness is most important.

Honestly, this way first off all seems slower, if you are in a situation where you need to draw your pistol you’ll probably wanna do it faster than the criminal can hurt you. Also you’ll have to dedicate that entire pocket to only the pistol because it doesn’t have anything covering the trigger like a holster would. I’m betting most of us don’t want our keys to be the cause of an accident fatal discharge…😅

That is kinda cool I suppose but I would not recommend this to anyone. What happens if your purse gets snatched?

Beyond that, it's always better to have your holstered weapon FIXED to your person. Yes, it is concealed inside the purse but it is, by no means, secured. If you need to opt for an external carry, I would recommend a fanny pack or shoulder bag; anything that can't easily be snatched off of you.

Also, women, when choosing to carry a purse, you should opt for a clutch bag (small straps) so that you can carry it in the pit of your arm and it can't be snatched 😉

This is great for women who otherwise can't carry normal ways, like appendix, or with a shoulder, or drop leg holster. Women are not like guys they are not like me they dont wear the same pair of jeans everyday. They wear dresses and other beautiful clothes. For them, they need as many options as possible.

Not a fan of off-body carry as a general rule. Always a chance you'll leave it somewhere and not have immediate access to the gun. Also, if a criminal successfully takes your bag, they've also disarmed you.

Seems a bit cumbersome with the strap hanging so low. Probably a lot better 6 inches higher. I’d also put a skirt pin on that pull tab to make it easier to grab and find a way to use the left hand to pull it open.

The concept is potentially there, but I’d redesign the bag a bit for function.
