Carry You” celebrates and mourns that period of time, appreciating it for what it was, but expressing a sadness in its transience. Knowing all the characters depicts that one particular period - The tall bald guy depicts anger and frustration. The old man depicts depression, the young lady depicts that particular emotion where we fail to let go of something/someone, the young man depicts failure and at the end, the old lady depicting acceptance.
What's more scary is we all are a part of this loop and shall face all of this one way or the other, but that is life and that is how we cherish it.

Having gone through five years of grief, and still going, this video shakes me because it's all the feelings in the stages of grief that I've experienced. I see myself as the disheveled man, rudderless and drifting into a setting in which he meets and interacts with all the stages of grief:

The young man is denial.
The black man is anger.
The young woman is bargaining.
The old man is depression.
The old woman is acceptance.

The disheveled man does not interact with denial -- it's like he's not there. Anger grips his head forcefully. Bargaining looks at him with pleading eyes. Depression barely breaks free to be present and acknowledge him. Acceptance looks at him tenderly and comforts him. And all along the interactions aren't expected -- the intense emotional breaks, the affection, the yearning for redemption, the raw rage. It doesn't make sense. In grief, none of it makes sense. It's universal and one day we all go through it. This video is a powerful reflection of the experience.

This does feel like that kind of song you play when remembering you old friends, the scenes you’ve live with them, the memories, the love that will always be there.
