~Called the cops on the newlyweds with a fake drug possession claim.
~Hid passport and tried to bribe the airline to prevent the honeymoon trip.

This mother-in-law is one of the most insane people I’ve ever heard of.

My ex husband sent the police to my wedding. However I was one step a head, it was his weekend with the kids. 2 months before the wedding I got a court order giving me the kids for that weekend. Police showed up like I knew they would and had the court order ready. He called the police on me so often the police ended up charging him and then the court held him in contempt.

I’m not shocked. I’m a Mexican with a Mexican mother in law.
The woman sobbed loudly through the wedding. Patting her heart saying he was killing her.
My husband was killed in a car accident. At the funeral she yelled at me. Saying o killed her son. I was a murderer.
Tried to take my children from me. Claiming I was an unfit mother.
The last and my ability to cut the woman out of my life. My youngest has severe nut allergy. No nuts no peanuts.
When my children visited her. I sent his food. One day she refused and gave him a PBJ. He was 2yrs old. It was my 7yr old that jabbed him with the Epi pen. Then called 911.
The courts gave her supervised visits. But after a month of it. She claimed they weren’t her son’s children. I haven’t seen her since then.

I had a mother-in-law from hell, she pushed and interfered and did so much damage in the family that eventually my husband was killed in an automobile accident. That however was not enough for her she and her husband then set about stealing every document and any bits of insurance which my young children were to inherit and left them with nothing. Living in South Africa and a car being deliberately stolen by somebody... Guess who...left Us in a really difficult situation. Now that we have moved to the UK and my children have all grown into beautiful successful people she suddenly wants to have contact again. Absolutely no way ever ever ever contact with these children and bring her toxicity into their lives. My patience and my love and my Christianity was all used up on her the day that she stole everything from my children including the few items that my husband had left to his children a little table made by his blind uncle and a Truly... Can you believe it. We are such a happy family and such a beautiful family I won't let any evil come near my family ever.

That wedding story sounds like the beginning plot to every Mexican telenovela. 😂 I'm Hispanic. I've grown up watching it. The only thing that's missing is a fake death, a long-lost rich father for the girl so that she's now even richer than her husband, and a fall that results in temporary amnesia.

I've told people this before but marrying someone whose family hates you will bring nothing but misery and its not worth it. They may love each other but a successful marriage requires so much more. She deserves better.

This reminds me of something I heard years ago. Some girl who came from a very upper middle class family was dating a guy who worked in some pizza place. Her family thought the guy wasn't good enough for her, she knew the kind of person her boyfriend was. He asked her to marry him which she did, her family cut her off. As I understand it the guy opened his own pizza place and after so many years had 5 shops of his own. The girls parents went to her and said they were sorry for what they did, she said something like that's nice and slammed the door in their face.

Groom needs to disown parents & their money. Bride & groom live happily in peace, no family drama. It will get worse, especially when she gives birth to the evil in-laws's biological heir.
