As far as cost…it is extremely variable city to city and state to state. They usually charge per unit of Botox and treatment is very individualized in terms of area treated and frequency. I spend about $300 every 6 months for fairly light Botox.

"Age gratefully and gracefully", I have never heard that and love it.

I dont think i’ve ever seen botox look THIS graceful, and that is meant as a compliment! i can really tell how well your features are working with the injections + big round of applause to your doc/cosmetologist 💪🏽 You’re gorgeous ma’am! ❤️

This is the way botox should be done. She looks her age, extremely pretty and natural. I'm 24 and I swear some young people in their 20s getting botox (and fillers) look like whole different people. I can't imagine what my generation is going to look like in 20 years.

I am almost 72, acceptance is everything. Do the best with what you have. A little Botox if well done has never killed anyone. In Europe, we use less work on our faces. Élégance, a bit of make up, good food, a little social life with good friends and fresh air that is the most important things to stay younger and health is also a question of luck no matter what you do! You look very gracious and I did you soup and we loved it

“Aging is a privilege, the other option (dead) is not attractive!” I’ve heard this quote somewhere (perhaps from Dr Idriss on youtube), it reminds me to be grateful.

This video is so refreshing, honest, and authentic. Love how you incorporated Botox information, your experience through the years including acceptance of the aging process THIS is what is meant by aging gracefully. Thank you and you have gotten a new subscriber!

I can't believe my luck - we have ladies in their 60s making YouTube videos sharing invaluable advice with us whilst we're just sitting around laying in bed comparing botox treatments and figuring out what we want... I am considering gummy smile botox and I remember 10 years ago these sort of videos wouldn't exist... at least not honest reviews from very experienced users who always did the right thing and want to be generous and share with the whole world so that the world is a better place and girls don't have to waste their money getting upsold... So grateful for these insightful videos and immediately subscribed, what a great role model and definitely someone I look up to and can go to to navigate aging process...

Botox makes look better only, but not younger. Age is not about wrinkles.

Age is about :
- sound and vibration of the voice
- the speed of reactions
- the energy in the eyes
- vocabulary
- mood
- level of sense of humor
- the way of walk and sit

etc.

At 42, I sometimes feel that I don’t look the way I do in my memory of myself, if that makes sense. It is so hopeful to hear you talk about your growing acceptance of being and looking older. I never feel like oh that person looks older so they look bad, but I struggle to not see aging in my own appearance as a negative thing. Anyway, you are both lovely and have a lovely presence! I’m glad to have found your channel!

People kept asking me if I was ok...I realised that the frown lines were too angry looking after years of dealing with painful diseases...lots of frowning! No one asks me now. Botox twice a year age 56yrs works for me.

It makes me sad reading some of the comments in here. So many of us women are terrified of ageing when we should not be. I also used to dread getting older and it started as early as 8 years old. I was already doing face masks, using my mom’s creams, doing DIY anti-ageing masks. I have always been super self-conscious about getting older. Then around 25, I started relaxing a little. I mean, it‘s a scary phase because you’re getting closer to 30 and then I realised: well, Whats so wrong about turning 30? 30 is still HOT. It’s not old. And I truly believe that 40 is also still hot, as long as you have maintained yourself physically with exercising and have lived a healthy lifestyle.

I realised that this fear of turning 30 mostly came from hearing random (and stupid) men saying that women hit the wall at 30. That we are not desirable from then on. That we are grandmas at that age. Then I paused and looked around me and realised that most of the women from my entourage in their 30s don’t look any different than my 25 year old friends. I realized that the 30 year old women I know still get hit on by both younger and older men. That they are still completely functional and that nothing have changed.

Sure, our biological clock is ticking but except from that, most women in their 30s don’t look much different than women in their 20s. At least not where I am from.

I am lucky to have pretty good genes that make me look younger than I am. However, I am more than my age and my physical appearance.

If we fear ageing, we prove those misogynistic men right. It starts with us. Let’s not be scared of ageing. Let’s not believe in those lies meant to control us saying we age faster and worse than men. It’s not true. We age normally and we should not be embarrassed.

Lots of men start going bald at 28 and gaining a beer belly at 32 so they should look in the mirror first.

Bottom line is: live a healthy life, stay active, take care of your skin from a young age and give the middle finger to anyone who shames you for not being 21 anymore.

Wow. I just started 6 years ago! I am very happy with it. My makeup doesn't sink into the laugh lines anymore. And I don't look worn out - which I'm not. Thank you!

Hi there! What an interesting video. I'm not ready for botox but someday! You know what, Tamara? I know you're a nurse and if I had to be in the hospital, your soothing presence would make the experience so much better. I bet you're the BEST nurse and mother. Thank you for joining YouTube. ❤❤ Hugs!

I finally had my first Botox last month in my “11’s”. Not only did it help, it took away my almost nightly headaches. I will continue with Botox. And I’m 69!

Been doing botox since turning 34 or 35 to prevent a forehead line that was starting. I'm 52 now and now forehead lines, no crow's feet, or lines between my brows to make me look angry or sad. And I'm very pleased with results. It isn't for everyone. Suits me fine.

I am 32 and I get light Botox here and there. I get crows feet and lip lift. The changes are subtle and maintains my youth. Working, cooking, cleaning and taking care of kids /husband is not easy. So anything that keeps me looking softer is a plus!
