Thanks for letting me know all the details on this topic, I’m glad to know where on my priority list reaffirming my car loan sits compared with, as well as how to file for it effectively. Another person who covers this topic pretty well is Joe, I’d love to see you collab with him

Thank you but you didn't address cross-collateralization clauses. Credit Union car loans almost always have that clause. Maybe another video for you to do.

Great video. Thank you. My 27 year old is living in Ohio. Their exemption is $4000 and they have a wild exemption worth $1325 (I think). So my question is she wants to keep her cat but is worried there is some equity they can get. It’s a 2018. Can you start the process and if they want to sell her car can she stop the process?? She has no other valued assets. None. She a college student going to school on grants. She needs her car.

Great work you are doing attorney! If you can evade repossession long enough will an auto lender like Toyota finance file a Replvin to get the vehicle back or will they just keep trying to repossess it until they get it? your comment is appreciated

We own both of our vehicles and they are worth more than the California exemption amount. Would it be better for us to trade them in and get a new vehicle that we’ll be paying on monthly, before we file? Therefore keeping the vehicle we now have a loan on?

If you file a chapter 7 and plan on doing a reaffirmation will they approve it if you’ve never made a single payment on the vehicle?

Can you please answer my question. Can the gov/courts garnish a paypal account? How does the court garnish from business owners who doesn't get paid wages but earn profits? Have you seen courts go corrupt and violate their own laws to be in favor of the junk debt buyers?
