My wife still has good credit and has me as an authorized user on one of her cards, I also have a mortgage so that helps. Within a month of filing my scores went from high 400s to 650-699. 40k in debt gone. Get a lawyer and do it now!

I’ve been struggling with my debt for about 3 years. I haven’t missed a payment yet, and my credit report always points that out. But, that is about to change. I had to repeat on the 3:00 minute mark so many times just to try to understand what he said. I thought he said after 6 months they checked for rates and they had to wait 10 minutes after filing bk. It was clearly 10 months which made more sense 😂😂🙏🙏

I’m trying to understand here, @ 3:55 you’re stated that the reason you and your spouse filed for bankruptcy is because you want to purchase a home.
As that makes little sense to me, without any other info on the debt that lead to bankruptcy. I also don’t get how can you pay CCs on time AFTER bankruptcy, if there are no credit cards to pay for; since all the CCs debt was removed and the cards are closed.
So having no cards to pay for, after bankruptcy, and staying away from applying for any, how can one improve the score?

I had one credit card left that was in good standing, but it was closed with the others as part of bankruptcy.
Leaving me with no credit cards to build credit with.
