Seve was such a gentleman when he put the jacket on Ben and Ben was such a gentlemen receiving it. I'm one of your biggest fans that's the best thing I ever heard from a recipient of the jacket.

Great work Ben..as a Gen.Xer I was introduced to the game by my Gpa's, i loved golf my whole life, a true passion! Fond memories of family Easter/Masters parties year by year. 86" Jack was a true highlight in my bank of memories ..With that said to go through the final rounds year by year has, exponentially, increased my passion, knowledge and true love for the history of the game of golf. TIP of the cap to ad free content and a wonderful avenue to relive, relearn, and relove the game of golf at it finest stadium...The Masters

Love hearing Ken Venturi. He tells what a player should do.

Faldo said when Crenshaw made his second putt on 14 he said it was the greatest putt under pressure he ever saw. He said after that putt he knew what it took to win at Augusta. To me if you looked at those swings…tempo and rhythm was HUGE……probably because of persimmon woods

When I was a junior golfer I had the pleasure standing right behind him on the practice range at the Texas State Junior at Brakenridge Park Golf Course in San Antonio. Even then I knew I was watching a kid, who would go on to greatness. Sweetest swing I ever witnessed!!

I live in S.C. and I started going to Augusta the next Spring and did so for most of 30 years. It is an amazing place. I got to see Ben play often and it was a blessing to me to get to see years of golf there. He was a great addition. I did not remember that he had such a big lead. It is also interesting to see Nick Faldo's swing then. He did not like it and rebuilt it soon so it would hold up better under pressure. Less timing and more control. He got away from that 1970s swing. Brave move.

Crenshaw has played some of the finest rounds in masters history

It's interesting that, in 1984, we got to see front nine coverage starting on the 5th hole, but two years later in 1986 there was no footage of Kite and Ballesteros making eagle on #8.

The greatest Masters I ever witnessed was in 1986 when Jack Nicklaus went on a tear on the back nine.

Noticeable differences in Faldo's swing in this period to his swing post collaboration with David Leadbetter.

Bob Murphy reckoned that Crenshaw’s putt on the 10th was one of the greatest putts he’s ever seen. I believe it was 90% luck, no way was he expecting to make that, he even admitted it afterwards.
Seve showed a superb touch of class and dignity in the Butler cabin when congratulating Ben and putting on the green jacket. What a great and charismatic man,
RIP

Who would have know that Watson & Seve would never win again here, yet Faldo would go on to win three times.

No one was more dangerous with the flat stick than Ben Crenshaw. Always surprised he only won two majors. He was one of the best during the prime of his career.

Also, very strange to see Nick Faldo's old swing. He hit it longer, but with less control. With his new swing, he gave up distance for much more control and accuracy. It was a wise decision and he won a lot more after the change.

I was there on #11, 36 years ago, when Crenshaw sank a 60' putt w/100' break to win by two. I was the guy w/nice legs on the far right. 😁

Broadcast now covers some parts of the front nine and players have other than Augusta’s caddies.

Big Crenshaw fan when I saw him win Colonial in 77 here in Ft. Worth. Was glad he won this Masters.
