Beyond all the stats-which are great-he has the stamina and perseverance to go all the way. Lot’s of guys have great stat’s but don’t have the jam for 4 rounds of playoffs. He is also a generous teammate who doesn’t go point hunting to get his at the expense of others. Scotty Barnes is the real deal.

His defense will Improve if he is allowed to cover an opponen 10:56 t closer to the basket. Last year he was asked to cover guards too often, partly because there was no one else and partly because Siakim couldn't or wouldn't cover anyone more than a few feet from the paint. Scottie has huge defensive impact when he's allowed to roam the paint
