Why Is No One Talking About Scottie Barnes?

Don't let the Raptors down year distract you from the fact Scottie Barnes had an all star season at just 22 and is only going to get better.

If he was on the Lakers instead of the Raptors the media would be calling him a top 20 player.

This video will go viral one day. Will age like fine wine. 3 years from now when the world catches up.

He's 6'9 at this point. He was eye level with Domantis Sabonis and Daniel Gafford when they matched up, which was a big surprise.

Toronto fans know all about how special Scottie is, and why he was untouchable in the Durant trade talks. His personality is unmatched too, he's hilarious! Amazing vibes guy on top of a stellar player

He's Athletic, has the skills of a all defensive type player with a good Defensive IQ. Great video, can we see more of these type of videos?

Yeah, like others have said, if he was in LA, Miami, New York, or Boston, he'd get a lot more discussion.

Scottie Barnes is well on his way to an MVP season eventually. Awesome video!

I love Scottie’s game honestly. He’s a great hustler and was easily most improved before his injury came along. I’m excited to see him grow and hopefully gets to experience higher levels again in the playoffs.

i remember when scottie was drafted. it shocked the basketball world to see him go at 4.

now he's our franchise player for at least the next decade! and i'm so happy about that!

The thing about Scottie is his brain. Yes he's huge and that's great. Yes he's got massive hands and that's great. But it's his IQ and leadership. He's a 3rd year player and he's the guy you can't hear on the court. Screaming at his teammates to get to their spots. It's clear he understands the system and rotations and demands everyone else is as engaged as him. He'll win titles, I hope with the raptors

If last year proved anything is if Scottie sets his mind to it, then expect to see results. Last off season, his goal was to get bigger, stronger and faster. He packed on 10lbs of muscle and did sprint training. You can see that pay off with how effortlessly he can chase down blocks, bully people in the paint and get a step on almost anyone. This off season, his focus was on improving his shooting. I wouldn't be surprised if his point totals jump up to at least 25 without getting more shots.

Great video! Thanks for the Scottie recognition, as a Raps fan he doesn't get enough attention league-wide. Subscribed!

He’s gonna be the closest thing to LeBron. Play all 5 positions, able to score and get teammates involved, defend anyone and everyone. Speed and IQ are the only difference. If he keeps working and getting better at the rate he is, he will be the guy.

Better to stay this way, let my boy Scottie fly under the radar. Let his playing do the speaking.

As someone who fell in love with him the moment he was drafted by my favorite team

Great Video. Thank you for creating it. Scottie is being slept on because of two things 1) he's in toronto and 2) people don't know how unselfish he is and when Fred and Pascal were here he would defer to them to a fault. Those are the optics part time raptors viewers remember. The best version of scottie is yet to come and I'm pumped for it.
