Used a heat gun, high setting, only for a few seconds (pulled cup away as soon as it started to smoke lol) and IT WORKED! Thank you. Suction cup for transponder on windshield.

It's amazing all the helpful things I can find on Youtube. Things that you would think would never be there or who would make a video about this or that and sure enough when I go to look it there it is, someone made a video about just what I was looking for.

I'd assumed my problem with the sticker was due to humidity, but I now think it was just usage over the last few years.

As well as using just boiled water, I set the 'lock' to unlocked. The 'dimple' in the centre disappeared, I guess that was a 'Factory reset'. The difference was dramatic and looks very promising😀 Thank you Sukhneet. What would we do without YouTube to help us with these minor, but frustrating problems?
