I passed the sie using kaplan qbanks and reading the manual. Easy test

I studied Solomon exams for a year and I took the practice test every day for 2 months leading up to the test and I only recognize about five of the questions out of the 75

I got the SIE for dummies tell me how this test is only 85 questions there is so much material i know options and equity securities. But this is absolutely insane the amount of info shit I just spent 5 hours each day for the past week just taking notes.

I'm using Kaplan, not impressed. I can get over 80% on the practice exams but then i took the Finra practice exam. Questions on the practice exam on Finra's website uses terms not in the SIE handbook. Why? While i know what a syndicate is it asks about a syndicate desk, WTF? The terms on the test are totally different than what is taught. Its almost like FINRA wants people to fail their exams to get retake money. I know the manual but i don't know terms i wasn't taught and the exams uses double talk and double negatives like its trying to trick the test taker into choosing the wrong answer instead of testing them on if they know the information straight forward. Its sad that most of the industry is always set up to take money .

I'm currently taking this Pass Perfect class. I am having very little success retaining the information. My check your understanding and exam results are less than poor. I'm so confused as to why I'm not retaining this information. I would ask questions but I'm not even sure what questions I need to ask people to help me hold on to the material easier. I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult, but it is.

I got sponsored by my employer for the training with Pass Perfect but I didn’t pass. This was 3 years ago. I’m thinking of retaking the course, I have the workbook at home. Just scared that I won’t pass again. It’s a lot of material to understand and memorize.
